Community Rules & Statement of Policy
Highland View operates under a clear set of Community Rules & Regulations and a Statement of Policy that every resident receives and agrees to. They exist to keep the community pleasant, predictable, and well-cared-for for everyone.
What residents can expect
Age qualification
At least one member of each household must be 55 or older, in keeping with the community's age-qualified status.
Owner-occupied homes only
Every home is owned and occupied by its residents. Subletting and roommates are not permitted, and the rental agreement is made only with the individuals on the home's title.
Home & space maintenance
Residents are responsible for maintaining their own home and space — including landscaping, skirting, awnings, and general upkeep — and for keeping them in good condition.
Pets
Up to two pets are welcome, subject to qualification and approval, with a signed pet agreement and adherence to the community's pet guidelines.
Month-to-month space rental
Space is rented month-to-month. Rent is due on the 1st, with a late fee if not received by the monthly grace period.
A quiet, respectful community
Residents agree to standards that protect everyone's peaceful enjoyment of their home and the community.
